A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

A
W
hen Anezina was born, Angelos was already 10. Far from driving them apart, but more bringing them together, the two artists use this age difference as a trigger to create a visual dialogue. A dialogue between the big and the small, the boy and the girl. An encounter between sexes and friends.

The portraits of the exhibition, sometimes realistic and sometimes expressionist, reveal the style and the personal touch of each painter, while at the same time speaking with the spectators and bringing them up against their own gaze.

  THE ARTWORKS

Anezina Blazogiannaki searches for people’s truth in their facial expressions, and this without hesitating to peep behind the curtain to draw their look and attention.

With themes inspired mainly from the Ancient Greek art and the religious traditions, Angelos Spartalis basically speaks about beauty and awe, about the timeliness and necessity of even a fragmented beauty.
