Wishes is to say letters to myself. But to say them
out loud because even when I¢m talking to myself there
is quiet and loud, honest... "We were already not
letting Manolis come in contact with anyone, for fear he
might catch some virus... Things had become serious.
What does one do now?" Wishes is a documentary film as
it would be drawn by a painter. A film based on the real
story of Manolis, a six-year-old child with a congenital
disease, and on the director¢s artistic background
(painters Y. Gaitis, A. Akrithakis and poet M.
Sachtouris). Divided into two absolutely separate parts,
the Imaginary and the Real, the film is as much of a
documentary as a painting.
